Refugee Health Collaborative

Who we are

We are a partnership between Eastern Health, MUN Family Practice, and the Association of New Canadians, to provide medical services to new Canadians who are refugees.

What we do

We offer initial medical intake services and ongoing primary provider health-care services, through physician and nurse practitioner services. We work with new Canadians to learn the medical system and transition to private family physician providers.

Who we see

We provide medical services to Government-sponsored refugees through the Association of New Canadians and also private sponsored refugees from the community.

Our team

Health care services are offered through physician and nurse practitioner services. We also have public health nursing services.
